BREAK ONE
Hi, I'm Anne Sweeney with Cliff Blake. We'll be back to this beautiful program in just a moment.
I like how Tom describes what he and Atticus share on the mountain. He tells our producers that he has adopted a new dog and they're looking forward to their next hike with Will.
Windows to the Wild is one of those programs that takes you places you might never go. And public television is the only place where you can find programs like this.
I've been a supporter of this New Hampshire PBS station for a long time. And I hope you'll take a moment right now and join me by calling the number on your screen or going online and making a contribution. And when you do, we'll say thank you in so many ways.
If you've already made a pledge of support this year, thank you. If you've been thinking about renewing your membership or making an additional gift , there is no time like now to call the number on your screen and tell the operators you want to see more local and national PBS Nature programming.
It's that simple, it only takes a phone call or a few clicks online
Do your part and make it possible for everyone to enjoy these stories.
I've seen its many changes and have enjoyed watching Windows to the Wild evolve into the award winning program that it is.
I am especially fond of its producers who share a little bit about what the outdoors means to their work AND to themselves.
Phil and Steve talk about what working in nature means to them and what it means to the audience.
Outcue: "a big loss for our viewership"
Now you know just some of the people behind the scenes of Windows to the Wild. They not only love the outdoors, they love connecting the audience to the awe inspiring people they meet.
There are more inspiring stories ahead. But before we head back to the program, take a moment to call the number on your screen or go online and make a pledge of support. Help us keep Will and his producers on the trail.
Thank you for supporting the programs you love!

BREAK TWO
Watching Greg and Will talk about how nature speaks to the heart and soul was so moving. It's hard to imagine life in his shoes, but it's wonderful to see him doing it with such humility and grace.
Hi, I'm Anne Sweeney with Cliff Blake. We have one more segment left in this special Windows to the Wild program. I hope you are enjoying it with us and maybe starting to think about how you're going to get out of the office or house a bit more and enjoy the sights and sounds that our natural world has to offer.
If you're inspired by Will and the people he meets, think about how many more stories there are to tell on Windows to the Wild. And think about what you can do to make that happen. Your New Hampshire PBS station relies on community support to keep telling these stories. And when you call the number on your screen or go online to make a pledge of support, we'll say thank you in a number of ways.
The people who produce Windows to the Wild and the other stories you see on New Hampshire PBS spend hours researching and planning. They work hard, but they also love what they do, especially when they work as a team. Ever wonder what it's like working with Will Lange? Here's some insight from Executive Producer Phil Vaughn and Videographer Steve Giordani.
I love getting these insights into what makes this program so uplifting and the stories so engaging. The producers love what they do, and they love who they do it with. Most importantly, they know who they do it for. It's you and your neighbors. When we read the many comments that come in from viewers about this program, we know we're on the right track. And with your support, we'll be able to continue bringing you these stories.
We pay for all of the programs you see on New Hampshire PBS. And we don't receive any money from the State of New Hampshire. It's people like you, our corporate partners, charitable foundations and fundraising events like our annual auction that make it happen.
All of these supporters are responsible for keeping the lights on and keeping our crews in the field. A lot has changed in the video production world. Here's Steve Giordani with a couple of examples.
TRT 1:00 outcue: ""What they were when we started the show""
Steve talks about the evolution of equipment."
The next time you watch Windows to the Wild, see if you can identify how Steve might have captured the video. It's your support that helps Steve, Phil and the rest of the production team at New Hampshire PBS do what they do best. Find and tell the stories that inspire and connect us with our world.
You're sure to be inspired by this last segment. I know I was. That means this is your last chance in this program to give us a call or go online and make your committment of support. We'll say thank you with another year of spectacular programs that bring us closer to experiencing and understanding the natural world around us.
Thank you for supporting the programs you love!
